Maple Crook Serving Spoon

This Norway Maple serving spoon was carved from a nice crook. The compression in the branch union where it grew created some lovely striped marks in the neck of the spoon which are clearly visible from both sides.

It's got some subtle carved texture on the handle which makes for a lovely tactile feel in the hand and it's long, fairly shallow bowl make it less suited to serving liquids but great for portions of veg, rice or scrumptious puddings etc.

Finished with raw linseed oil, hand washing recommended.
